Aseco South Africa is a joint venture company formed between Global Star Shipping of South Africa and USS United Shipping Services of Sweden.

The objective of the two partners was to establish a South African connection to the Aseco global group of companies that is presently represented in Scandinavia, Finland, Russia, the Baltic States, Central Europe, Western Europe, United Kingdom, United States of America. Through the established connections of all the partners Aseco/TMCL are able to gain access to a range of quality Carriers on each trade route and, by virtue of their combined sales potential, are in a position to secure competitive and attractive rates.
